Here At the Nursery
Come check out our fully stocked nursery and garden center. Plants are in bloom and looking great: Daylilies, Sedum, Ajuga, Bee Balm, Rose of Sharon, Butterfly Bush, Buckthorn and More! In the Garden Center we have regular and earth friendly garden chemicals, a full line of fertilizers, and a growing line of pottery and water features. Our staff can help you with whatever it is you’re looking for, so stop in and check us out.
Don’t forget to ask about our two new lines of do-it-yourself water features. We now carry the Aqua Basin Mini Kit as well as the Aqua Rock Kit. Both features are an all in one kit and under $150.

Here At The Nursery
Our trees have leafed out and the perennials and shrubs are in. Come check out our fully stocked nursery and garden center. We have a complete line of fertilizers, as well as both regular and earth friendly garden chemicals. It’s good to get ahead of any pest or disease before it’s too late. So stop in and check us out.
We also carry a variety of pottery and aquatic features. Along with our expanding line of water displays, we now install fire features of all shapes and sizes.
It’s not too late to start that garden. Whether it’s potting soil, fertilizers, or pest control, Robert’s has what you need to get your perennial or vegetable beds ready for this season. We are also a registered member of Seed Savers, and currently carry a variety of heirloom seeds.

Weekly mowing and trimming jobs are underway, as well as monthly fertilizing programs. Don’t forget to apply preventatives for fungus and grubs. Call or stop in to have Robert’s help your yard look beautiful all season long.

Spring Is Here
Well it’s been a long Winter, but Spring is finally here. Whether you do it yourself or have us do it for you, now is the time to get out in the yard and start sprucing it up. We are currently running crews for landscape Clean-Ups, Re-Mulching, Aeration, and Fertilization. Soon enough we will have all of our plant material in so call or stop by for a free estimate on your new landscape projects.
Bedding Areas
It is a good idea to re-cut your bedding edges to keep grass from spreading into your mulch beds. Trim and prune perennials and shrubs so new growth can come through healthy and strong, (Lilacs bloom off of old growth so if you prune them now then they won’t bloom for this season. Wait to prune until after they flower.) Finally, put down a fresh coat of mulch and apply Preen to prevent weeds from sprouting.
Lawn Care
It is important to take a look at any damages from this winter. Power Raking is very important if snow mold and heavy matting have occurred. We always suggest to Aerate and apply Cal-Sul (a Gypsum product) in both spring and fall, However with the winter we have had it is a must. Overseeding is also important at this time for those thin, dead, or bare areas! If you aren’t going to apply seed to dead areas, don’t forget to apply Pre-Emergent to help prevent unwanted weeds from germinating in your lawn.

We are regularly getting in loads of Mulch, Rock, and Top Soil, so put stopping in at Robert’s on your to do list. While you’re here check out our fully stocked showroom.
